LOCAL PICKUP

Our plants are the heart of our operation here at Rise Up Remedies. We’ve tended them carefully from tiny seed to flower year after year and we can’t wait to get them into your hands. Every week we assess which herbs are vibrant and ready to harvest for our community. Our inventory of fresh herbs is updated weekly on Fridays.

We offer several options for accessing our fresh herbs and herbal products in the greater Portland area. Read on below as we detail each option so that you can choose the best one for you.

You-Pick Herbs on our farm (twice monthly)

The cutoff for all local pickup orders is 12 noon on Thursdays each week.

All orders placed before noon on Thursday will be filled on Friday of the same week. Any orders placed after noon on Thursday will be filled the following week. Please check your calendar to be sure you can pick up your order. We do not offer refunds on orders that are not picked up from Open Hand Health or Portland Farmers Market at PSU. If you miss your pickup window for fresh herbs, your herbs will be donated.

Fresh Herb Pick Up at Open Hand Health - FREE (order minimum $30) (2410 SE 10th Ave, Portland, OR 97214)

We’re proud to partner with the incredible teachers, healers, and bodyworkers at Open Hand Health in SE Portland to offer fresh and dried herbs and apothecary products for pickup each week.

When you place an order for pick up at Open Hand Health, you will receive a confirmation email which includes the door code to access the space. Open Hand Health is open during the following hours for you to pick up your order: Fridays 4PM - 6PM, Saturdays 11AM - 5PM, Sunday 12 PM - 3PM . Please make sure you are able to pick up your order during this time period. We do not offer refunds on orders that are not picked up from Open Hand Health. If you miss your pickup window for fresh herbs, your herbs will be donated.

Getting there: Open Hand Health is located just off of SE Division St on the corner of SE 10th and SE Caruthers (2410 SE 10th Ave) in Portland. Located on the corner of SE 10th and Caruthers, Open Hand offers free parking in their own lot to make your arrival easier. Open Hand is also easily accessible by bike and public transit. You’ll enter through the main door on SE 10th. A small fridge and your herbs await you behind the first door you see when you enter. On Thursday the week of your pickup, you will receive a door code for entry to the teaching and gathering space where you can pick up your order.

Fresh Herb Pick Up at Portland Farmers Market at PSU - FREE (1803 SW Park Ave, Portland, OR 97201)

Downtown, SW, & NW Portland folks, this one’s for you! Fresh and dried herbs and apothecary orders are available for pickup at our booth at the Portland Farmers Market at PSU on select Saturdays 9AM-2PM. We’re happy to offer these pickups free of charge to our customers. Please make sure you are able to pick up your order during this time period. We do not offer refunds on orders that are not picked up from the Portland Farmers Market at PSU. If you miss your pickup window for fresh herbs, your herbs will be donated.

To pick up, first select Pickup at Portland Farmers Market at PSU in the checkout. Then, find our booth at the market on Saturday from 8:30 AM-2PM.

Get all your grocery shopping done at the market while you're at it! If you have a friend visiting town or have never been, it's a great way to spend your Saturday morning.

MONTHLY YOU-PICKS on the farm

Experience all that our small scale certified organic herb farm has to offer at our Fresh Herb You-Picks. Throughout the peak growing season in the Pacific Northwest (June-October), we host twice monthly you-picks at our farm in Gresham, OR. We welcome anyone interested in harvesting fresh herbs to our farm. There's nothing more special than spending time in our field of herbs!
