Thank you so much for your interest in our CSA! The sign up window for this year's fresh medicinal herb CSA is now CLOSED. You can still purchase a one-time seasonal pick-up of herbs in our shop.
If you are interested in joining our CSA next year, please sign up for our mailing list to hear when the registration window is open.
WHAT IS A CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture is a farm model that connects customers directly with local farmers. In the CSA model, customers purchase a share of the farm’s products before the season begins. This helps the farmers get the season started, while also ensuring customers have something to look forward to in a regularly picked up bundle of herbs. Because Mother Nature can be unpredictable, the contents of each share of our CSA has the potential to vary. But for our Herbal CSA, we strive to ensure that each share's offerings are abundant and harvested at their peak potency, and we are excited for the many herbs we are growing for you this year (list below!).
When you invest in our small farm with a Fresh Herb CSA Share, we ensure that you receive a carefully crafted assortment of our most vibrant herbs each season.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Joining our CSA is easy! Simply choose one of our two full season share options of four pickups: the Budding Herbalist share ($95) or the bigger Medicine Maker share ($180). Or, if you want to sample a single season's offerings, you can choose a one-time small ($30) or big ($50) share.
At four times during the season (dates below), you will then pick up your herbs at Wildish Botanicals in Portland, Oregon, where we (Lizzy and Laura) will introduce you to your new plant friends and celebrate the turning of the season over a tasty drink made with herbs from our farm!
At home you will be able to learn about the plants in your share via plant profiles and recipes we provide as you build up your herbal apothecary throughout the growing season (March-November).
As a thank you for supporting our farm, we also offer our CSA members a 10% discount on pre-orders of bulk fresh or dried medicinal herbs (dependent upon availability).*
*Please note: Pre-orders and one-time pickup orders must be submitted a week in advance of each pickup and are dependent upon availability. Order minimum is 0.25 lbs.
