Are you dreaming of building a robust herbal apothecary? Do you want to expand your herbal repertoire with an abundance of fresh, certified organic herbs? Do you want to create handmade herbal products for yourself or your friends and family?
If you're new to herbalism and hoping to start or expand your home apothecary, then our Half Share will help you do just that! Over the course of the 2021 growing season, you will build an intimate connection with 25+ medicinal herbs that will support you throughout the seasons.
In addition to your monthly supply of the freshest and most vibrant medicinal herbs, your CSA membership will include a deck of herbal profiles for each herb in your share. You’ll learn about each herb’s actions, taste, traditional usages, and contraindications as you craft your herbal medicine.
Delivered along with the first share, you’ll receive a Fresh Herb Medicine Making Guide complete with recipes for basic fresh herb tinctures, alcohol intermediary oils, flower essences, poultices, herbal vinegars, oxymels, fresh herb infusions, and more! Although you’re free to choose the herbal concoctions you’d like to make with your herbs, this guide will provide a basis for working with all of your herbs throughout your membership and beyond.
